B2B Website Awards — Terms of Service

1) What this is
These Terms govern your participation in the B2B Website Awards (the "Awards"). By submitting a website, you agree to these Terms.
2) Who can enter
B2B websites only, worldwide. Public sites only (no logins or gated access). Any language can be reviewed; English is preferred for top recognition. You must be the site owner or have permission to submit.
3) What you provide
Your site URL and basic contact details. Optional read-only analytics access (e.g., GA) if you want deeper context reviewed. Do not submit sensitive personal data or anything you don't have rights to share.
4) How we evaluate
We assess technical foundations and real-world signals. Shortlisted entries (those that clear our bar) receive an expert panel review using deep B2B domain expertise. Methods, criteria, and weighting may evolve during the season.
5) What you receive
Every entry gets a private dashboard outcome: total score and breakdown by area, and a prioritized action list. We'll notify you when your results are ready. Season winners are planned to be announced in early December (timing may shift).
6) Recognition & publicity
Badges may be offered for great scores and shortlisted sites (opt-in). We plan to publish winners and shortlists. You can opt out of public mention; your private results remain available.
7) No resubmissions this season
Entries are one per site for the season. Improvements may be considered in future seasons.
8) Data use & privacy
We do not share or sell your data. We use your data only to run the Awards and produce your results. We may create aggregated, anonymized insights that do not identify you or your users; Optise owns those aggregates. Optional analytics access, if granted, is read-only.
9) Fair play & disqualification
We may refuse or remove entries that: violate these Terms, attempt to manipulate results, present security risks, or lack submission authority. Panel decisions for Awards outcomes are final.
10) Intellectual property
You retain all rights to your website content and data. By entering, you grant us a limited license to analyze and display your results in your dashboard and Awards materials. We will not use your logos or brand publicly without your opt-in (e.g., for badges/winner pages).
11) Cost
Participation is free.
12) No guarantees / not advice
Evaluations are for information only and not professional advice. We don't guarantee specific outcomes (traffic, leads, revenue, rankings).
13) Warranty disclaimer
The Awards and related materials are provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE." We don't promise error-free operation or uninterrupted access.
14) Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Optise is not liable for indirect or consequential losses (e.g., lost profits, lost data). Our total aggregate liability relating to the Awards is capped at €100.
15) Governing law & disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Iceland. Disputes will be resolved by binding arbitration in Iceland, unless prohibited by law. You may opt out of arbitration within 30 days of first acceptance by emailing legal@optise.com; if you opt out, disputes will be heard in the courts of Iceland. Claims must be brought individually where permitted by law.
16) Changes
We may update these Terms; material changes will be posted on the Awards site. Continued participation after changes means you accept the new Terms.
